The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program supports local students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to serving the Florence community. Through this annual program, the Chamber helps graduating seniors pursue higher education while investing in the next generation of local leaders.

By supporting students today, we are helping strengthen the workforce, leadership, and long-term economic vitality of the Greater Florence region.

Scholarship applications open March 1 and close May 1 each year. Award recipients are announced
at their high school scholarship awards night

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Greater Florence Chamber
of Commerce Scholarship

Applicants must be current Florence Unified School District students, graduating high school seniors, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or local community service.

Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient’s chosen educational institution and may be used for tuition, fees, books, or required course supplies. To apply, students must complete the online application form and submit all required documents
before the deadline:

Completed Application Form: Personal and educational background information.

Official Transcripts: The student’s most recent high school academic records.

Letters of Recommendation: Two letters from teachers, employers, or community leaders
who are not family members.

Volunteer Work: A summary of community service and volunteer involvemen

The Chamber Scholarship Program is funded through the generosity of local businesses,
organizations, and community members. Sponsorships and donations help expand the program’s impact and create more opportunities for Florence students.
